Meet Olivia
Junior Instructor at Mo-ichido Martial Arts
With over 13 years of dedicated karate experience, Olivia began her martial arts journey at the age of 7, and it has been a huge part of her life ever since. She has achieved her 2nd Dan Black Belt and proudly represented Mo-Ichido England at the World Shotokan Federation (WSF) Championships, holding titles as a WSF European Champion and WSF World Silver Medallist.
Currently pursuing a degree in Sports Coaching Science at university, Olivia combines academic knowledge with real-world competitive and traditional experience to bring a well-rounded and modern approach to teaching. This means she not only understands how to teach karate, but also how to help students grow physically, mentally, and confidently—whether they’re training for fun, fitness, or competition. She also holds a Level 3 Qualification in Sport Science, which supports her focus on athlete development, performance, and well-being.
Her passion lies not only in her own training but in helping others grow, whether they're just starting out or aiming for the podium. Olivia has been teaching for the last six years, since the age of 14, and is committed to creating a positive, motivating environment where every student can thrive, improve their skills, and build confidence both on and off the mat.
To Olivia, karate is more than just kicks and punches—it’s about building focus, respect, confidence, and resilience. Mo-Ichido has provided her with these values, and she now strives to pass them on to every student she teaches.
